Rouen Business School earns AACSB accreditation
Rouen joins elite group of Triple-Crown (EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB) Institutions
April, 2011 —Rouen Business School has earned accreditation from the AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools and universities. AACSB International accreditation is widely regarded as one of the highest levels of accreditation for business schools and is a hallmark of excellence in management education.
In order to become AACSB-accredited, schools must meet rigorous standards for quality in teaching, research, curricula development, and student learning. The review team responsible for Rouen’s accreditation praised the school for the coherence between its vision, strategy and mission and lauded the quality of its programmes, research, internationalism and recruitment.
Rouen Business School has been EQUIS-accredited (a European standard) since 2002 and obtained AMBA accreditation for its MBA programme in 2009, only five years after the programme’s creation. The American AACSB accreditation elevates the school into the elite ranks of triple-accredited institutions, which represent only 1 percent of institutions worldwide.
“Achieving this third international accreditation is confirmation of our commitment to international academic standards and is proof of the School’s achievements over the last five years,” said Arnaud Langlois-Meurinne, Dean of Rouen Business School.
“This triple accreditation means excellent international visibility for the different programmes provided by Rouen Business School at a time when the internationalisation of our Campus is becoming more and more important.”
Receiving the American AACSB label attests to the quality of the school’s professors, and demonstrates that its programmes are in line with the expectations of the business world.
